When you use DeepShield AI, we collect and process the following information:
- Uploaded Video Binary: The video file you submit for analysis. Stored temporarily for a maximum of 24 hours.
- SHA-256 Hash: A unique cryptographic identifier for the uploaded file used for deduplication and caching.
- HMAC-Hashed IP Address: Your IP address, cryptographically hashed to prevent direct identification while allowing rate limiting.
- Metadata: The original filename, file size, and timestamps of your upload.
2. Purpose of Collection
We use the collected data strictly for the following purposes:
- To perform deepfake detection and provide you with an analysis report.
- To prevent abuse, manage traffic, and enforce rate limiting across our services.
- To improve the performance and reliability of the platform through temporary caching.
3. Data Retention and Deletion
All uploaded video binaries are subject to a strict 24-hour auto-purge policy. This is enforced automatically via Azure Blob Storage lifecycle policies. We do not retain the original video files beyond this window.
Anonymized metadata and analysis results (linked only to the file hash) may be retained for statistical analysis and system improvement.
4. Third-Party Services
DeepShield AI utilizes the following carefully selected third-party infrastructure providers:
- Azure Blob Storage: For secure, temporary storage of uploaded videos.
- Supabase (PostgreSQL): For storing analysis metadata and results.
- Upstash (Redis): For caching and rate-limiting infrastructure.
- Cloudflare Turnstile: For bot protection and security.
5. Cookies and Tracking
DeepShield AI does not use tracking cookies. We believe in privacy-first design and only utilize essential, anonymous session mechanisms required for the functionality of the service.
6. Your Rights
You have the right to request the immediate deletion of your data before the 24-hour auto-purge window expires. For data deletion requests or privacy inquiries, please contact us.
